Tolu Orija graduated from Cardiff Business School, University of Wales with a BSc. Accounting.
Following her graduation, she worked in the United Kingdom in various roles for several years. She joined the Accounting Firm of Lerman & Co as an associate and worked there until she qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
In Nigeria, she worked in Audit & Assurance Energy Business Unit of PwC for several years; involved in the audit of large international oil & gas companies and Nigeria independent indigenous companies; then moved to the IFRS Conversion Advisory Group ahead of adoption of IFRS by Nigeria.
During her career of over 20 years, she gained experience in Financial & Management Accounting, Audit & Assurance; Risk Management and Corporate Governance. She is a Fellow of ACCA and a Member of ICAN.
